A brand new model of the popular console with an integrated OLED screen, which provides clearer picture quality and brighter images, was announced in 2021, and it was one of the most exciting announcements for Nintendo Switch fans.  The announcement of the new OLED model generated a lot of excitement among the Nintendo community, even if it wasn't the 4K Switch that many fans had hoped to see come to market.  Fans of Animal Crossing: New Horizons are being urged to back up their game saves before upgrading to the new console, which will be released in just a few short days.

Since its release in March 2020, ACNH Bells For Sale, the latest installment in Nintendo's long-running life simulation franchise, has been a huge success for the company.  A large amount of creative and unique fan content has sprung up as a result of the game's rapid success, making it one of the most popular games on the Nintendo Switch.  A thriving community has grown up around Buy Animal Crossing Items, and with the release of a new Switch model on the horizon, Nintendo is urging fans to back up their data in preparation for the new model.

In a tweet, the official Nintendo Europe Twitter account advised fans planning to transfer their Buy ACNH Items islands to the Switch's OLED model to back up their save data first, and provided a link to a Nintendo-authored guide on how to do so.  Player's island backups are enabled by default, and players can restore their island data on another console by following the short guide.  Players can also disable the automatic creation of backups by following the short guide.  A Nintendo Switch Online membership will be required in order to recover a player's island in the event that the Switch is lost, stolen, or otherwise damaged by an outside force.

Cloud-based storage and backup capabilities have become an increasingly common feature in the gaming industry in recent years. . . . It is possible to store all of a player's saved games in the cloud with the Nintendo Switch Online membership, allowing players to move easily between different Switch consoles without losing their progress.  Cloud saves are also available to players as part of their membership subscriptions to PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live, and cloud saves are also available for free for certain titles on Steam's platform.

In both the gaming press and among fans of the long-running franchise, bells animal crossing has proven to be a popular title.  Due to its almost 34 million sales to date, the latest Animal Crossing game is the second best-selling Nintendo Switch game of all time, trailing only Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in that category.  Because Nintendo has been consistently updating the game since its release in 2011, the company has announced that an Animal Crossing-focused Nintendo Direct will take place on October 15 this year.  Animal Crossing Items' future appears to be bright as long as the game's developers remain committed to its updates.
