The archetype system isn't meeting its primary goal. It's still not balanced however, and I believe there are more powerful builds today than there ever was. 2K has not been able to efficiently manage each build's weaknesses and strengths. This is the major issue. A center that is more than 7 feet tall and 270 pounds should not be able to Nba 2k22 Mt take on a guard in the court during the transition.

In the past two years the point guards have had a difficult time with their active builds. There is no apparent advantage of playing a point-guard position; the added speed is not significant when the benefit of having a Point Forward build are considered. A Point Forward has higher ceilings than a guard. 2K Sports should address archetypes and design builds with inherent strengths as well as flaws. A center which isn't big enough will be able to move quickly but not enough to defend larger players.

MyCourt was previously a key part of 2K but it has lost luster over the last few years. In earlier versions of the game, the MyCourt was used as a space in which players MyPlayer could progress through basketball training. This was a brilliant idea that rewarded players who give their all to the game. MyPlayer has only seen an improvement of some sort over the past few years. The MyCourt is now available exclusively for HORSE. The MyCourt used to be an ideal place for players to deal with rivalries. The MyCourt could allow two players to compete in a 1-on-1 game with the winner receiving bragging rights.

It's becoming more normal for players to compete on the stage, and compete with virtual money in these kinds of matches. The MyCourt isn't designed with a clear purpose. The idea of the MyCourt being used by Pro-Am teams to 2k22 mt buy practice and recreation is attractive to me. Pro-Am is a major component of 2K and has grown more crucial with the advent of eSports. The MyCourt could be a place in which teams compete and work on chemical issues.
