I responded, "That's a long while back." She then replied that she was around RS for more than 6 years, she was around during Runescape Classic : ). I asked her if she owned any Christmas-related products (e.g. Xmas cracker)?" She told me she had 500 party caps and 30 Santa hats from her Runescape account. I asked her "What did you do with these hats?" She explained that she still had those items in the account she had originally created however she had forgotten her password. And then I fainted (just joking).

The shortbow of maple was the most sought-after bow prior to the update to dungeoneering. It was preferred over maple longs due to its speed and capability to do moderate damage. The maple longbows were few and far between I have only met one maple user at Clan Wars FFA. (In fact, he was using my shortbow to get him at a longer range using the longbow).

Other types of bows, such as the crossbow were even fewer, with the composite bows being a luxury item that few 60+'s were able to afford. Although crossbows were occasionally used in clan warfare by people who carried them along with as a shield in battle, I never saw composite bows being used. This is how it looked like before the upgrade.

Maple long style, with precise Arrows is the most destructive. Most cost efficient: Either long maple or short maple. Willow comp is definately not. Most damage over time: Maple short. Maple short is most frequently used. Willow comp is my favorite overall bow. It's because I purchased one and was enthralled by the combination of Buy RS3 Gold extra attack and speed. But, it's not as slow or as lengthy as a longbow. It also has a nice bonus range.
