How I write my cold sales emails with a real example

The reason is that they tend to be super theoretical and never actually cold-put their emails.

So in this post I don't want to do the same. I want to leave you, word for word, one of my cold sales emails:

Real example of my own cold emails, word for word

.

And now, I explain each paragraph of the email in detail so that if you want you can use it as your sales email template:

tajarat properties strives to be Pakistan's biggest real estate developer ever, guaranteeing the highest international standards, prompt execution, and lifetime customer loyalty. With projects like Lahore smart city

1) Respect each other's time

So start by taking pressure off both the subject and the first paragraph, so you know that your email is not going to last long:

Once you have managed to remove the pressure, let it be seen that it is a short email, maximum 3 paragraphs and in this order:

2) Give it value and give yourself value

The first thing people ask is who are you? How do I know you?

In the second paragraph answer it: give value to the client (it is not one more) and immediately give yourself courage to create credibility and create a link so that they continue to be interested in you.

And from there, the most important thing in sales and that you should NEVER forget:

3) The email is about your client

I, I, I, I, I, I, I…. Enough!

You have to find out what the pain of your clients is, tell them that you know it, and tell them about your solution but in relation to how you are going to remove their pain.

In our case: "salespeople don't keep track of all their potential sales."

It is their pain, not your product.

Don't try to sell on your first email. Your goal is to create a bridge:

4) Get me to answer you

To get to the roof, my friend, you have to go through the first floor. ; P

At the end of the email put a call to actionone just so that the client has no doubts about what you want , in the form of a question, and easy to answer :

Much better this way, than directly in your first email requesting a call , or worse, a meeting . I said, people are very busy. Make it easy for them.

If they answer you, you will have already managed to involve them and you can move on to the next sales phase.

5) The strength of PD (post data)

Postdating is the perfect place to talk about personal issues.

I couldn't sell him here but now he's a friend and we do a lot of mutual favors.

In my 8 years of entrepreneurship, I have realized the importance of creating true relationships with your clients, regardless of whether you can sell them something or not.

Having a genuine relationship with customers helps me so that, even if I don't sell to them, they give me super honest feedback that helps me improve a lot. In any case, this way I sell much more since, as you know, 80% of decisions are made with the emotional brain.

6) Don't forget your signature

It is the best place for them to know more about you. Add your website and personal contact information, I even have my twitter username here

You cannot imagine the number of people who have written to me about some of these 4 things, and thanks to that we have had more emails afterwards until we have come to fruition.

7) Send and track emails cold

80% of sales are achieved from the 4th time you talk to someone, so the key is to use a tool that allows you to bring hundreds of potential clients as if you only had one. In a few clicks and in a personalized way for each one.

We use Effigy ourselves. Do you dare to try Effigy for free now?

To finish the post, I leave you more examples. Both good and bad cold emails:

Note: If before continuing you want to download my cold email in text format, I am only going to ask you to publish it on one of your networks and thus help me reach more people. Thanks!

8) More good examples: Neil Patel

Look, Neil has a similar structure to mine:

Or also my email to influencers with which I got 500 registrations in just 1 day.

9) Bad examples: What you should NEVER do

I feel super identified with this post by Maier Thomasina. I really don't understand how there are people who can send this type of email without aligning interests:

10) But… it's illegal to send cold emails, right?

During the last year I have asked more than 10 lawyers and their answer has always been: "It is illegal " until finally the other day I came across Jose Manuel Sans who told me " I like challenges ".

In the post next Tuesday I will tell you.

See you next Tuesday!

And what can you do until next Tuesday?

1) Take my course on sales, online and free

There are 15 lessons by email with 100% transparency of what I have done myself until I was able to invoice € 100,000 / month with one of my companies.
