“We are very excited, entering 2019 with optimism and the right foot. We are able to deliver even more growth this year ” , said the co-president of the developer, Eduardo Fischer, in an interview.
Although the company chose not to disclose a formal launch target, Fischer said that it will be natural to reach, in the near future, the level of annual production of 50 thousand properties.
“The 50 thousand mark will be reached soon, without a doubt, as we are already running close to that. But this is not a goal ” , he pointed out. Last year, launches were 41.2 thousand units; gross sales, of 41.9 thousand units; and the completed works, of 35.6 thousand units.
Fischer also affirmed that, as the operation grows, high cash generation and revenue are also expected. "And with low indebtedness, we expect a strong dividend distribution," he amended.

The co-chairman of MRV pointed out that the developer has a land bank with the potential to develop projects valued at R $ 50 billion, of which R $ 3.6 billion (25 thousand units) are already approved and ready for launches. "We have a well-built land bank to support growth," he said.
The executive also noted that real estate credit is more stable after being marked by uncertainties about the availability of resources to finance the purchase and construction of houses over the past year. "The funding scenario has improved a lot in Brazil".
Fischer pointed out that the recent changes in the FGTS were positive, as they balanced the offer of subsidies between the different bands of Minha Casa Minha Vida (MCMV) , previously concentrated in the 1.5 band.
