If you've just got a few hours each week to TBC Classic Gold devote to a MMO, Classic might not be the game for you personally and you might be better off considering modern Warcraft to fill that Azeroth-shaped hole. Having said that, if you are not particularly concerned with endgame content such as raiding or max-level dungeons and only wish to explore Azeroth as it had been in 2006 then by all means, continue.

But if you want to enjoy everything that Classic offers, then you need to be prepared to devote a great deal of time not only levelling your personality however completing different Attunement quests and grinding standing to get some of those late-game instances.

World of Warcraft Classic does not have these quality-of-life improvements that you may be used to in contemporary Warcraft - or really many other current MMOs. For starters, the climbing of enemies is a whole lot less forgiving and you could end up getting quickly overwhelmed it you simply take on over two enemies at once without preparation. Travelling from one spot to another in Classic Azeroth is also far more time consuming - flight points aren't as abundant as they are these days and with in-game gold not as easily come by, you may find yourself struggling to save up to even buy your first Riding Skill and mount.

But it isn't all doom and gloom. The higher grind of Classic World of Warcraft pays with a feeling of real progression as you watch your character grow stronger as you gain levels, equipment, and general experience. You may be thinking about if it's worth starting your journey through old Azeroth now, nearly 1 year after launching. The answer is a most definite'yes'.

The sport - occupies within my mental geography is significant enough that I find it unsettling. The concept that a new player can undertake their journey throughout the game without ever setting foot on the broad pampas of the Barrens, or trudging through the Swamp of Sorrows, or even actually exploring the game's original continents - save the capital cities of Stormwind and Orgrimmar - gives me an uncomfortable feeling, like having a phantom limb or cheap WOW TBC Classic Gold some false memory.
