A week-long festival has everything that can entertain you and revive your mood so that you can welcome the upcoming year with zeal and energy.

SAF or Serendipity Arts Festival is conducted every year in Goa. It is the initiative of Serendipity Arts Foundation, a leading South Asian non-profit arts organization. However, the foundation organizes events every now and then, but Serendipity Arts Festival is the biggest multi-disciplinary event that gives artists the platform to showcase their talent. The foundation strongly believes in the fact that talent has no boundaries and talent can be anything. It can be dance, music, culinary, painting, writing, speaking etc. The destination of SAF festival is Goa, but last year it was virtual looking at the rise of the pandemic COVID. People from every corner of the world participated as an audience and participant of the event. They expressed their happiness and applauded the Serendipity Foundation to organize the virtual event with the same spirit as it is physical.

Arts Craft

At Serendipity Arts Festival, there is an aim to display the art and craft that are popular or in the verge of extinction. The festival has found recognition in keeping the age-old art forms alive. The art festival in Asia organized various workshops to introduce participants with the basic of arts forms such as Gond, Phad, Madhubani, and Patachitra. Participants got the chance to interact with the artisans and gain insight into their lives and work. It aims to let them understand the historical and cultural significance of the art form. Sanjhi paper cutting and kite making were one of the major attractions of the art and craft event. Umar Daraz, a famous Delhi-based kite artist, was invited to teach the art of kite making to people of all age groups. Each workshop had a limited number of participants so that each one could get attention.

Culinary, Dance, Drama Debate

Chefs’ expert in Goan cuisine went virtual to teach the art of cooking. Dishes include authentic mouth-watering Goan delicacies and some exotic beverages. Artistic live dance was organized by the Vertigo Dance Company. Some debates were held where special guests were invited to talk over multiple topics.
