Nike has released many retro versions in 2021 that were previously almost unavailable. After the Air Tuned Max Celery and the Cheap DQM x Nike Air Max 90 Bacon, Swoosh continues its momentum with the return of the Air Jordan 5 Raging Bull or as some prefer, the Toro Bravo.Unlike Stealth’s color change last weekend, the new version of Raging Bull is much more faithful to the original material. Originally released in 2009, the scheme has been updated almost faithfully, with a red varsity trim on the premium suede upper. The metallic silver tongues thus accentuate the adjacent tongues and complement the cells that give their neutral impression. The black eye remains, the midsole and badge on the top of the dress, the ice blue sole joins the bottom of the snaps, and the signature 23 stamp near the heel honoring the silhouette of the glory days at court.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG survey, which was first teased in early November 2020, recently appeared in unofficial images ahead of its release on the 21st. August. The initial mock-up of the sneaker suggested that the upcoming pair would be shiny – either satin or patent leather – with yellow overlays on a black leather base. However, the new photos show a full leather upper case, with pollen panels forming an elegant composition. Reminiscent of the 1999 Nike Dunk High Wu Tang, this retro model features a light hue across most of the upper, while the toebox, midfoot lining, tongue and collar lining offer a striking dark contrast. The NIKE AIR branding on the tongue is also present on the Jordan 1 bee model. The outsole sits on a white midsole, while the Peter Moore (36) designed outsole features a pollen arrangement that holds the shoe together nicely.
For obvious reasons, the Air Jordan 4 SE University Blue For Sale is without a doubt one of the most anticipated releases from the brand this year. Not far behind the Air Jordan 1, the silhouette celebrates MJ’s alma mater with a much more complete display of UNC color. In fact, it’s almost entirely on top.
