The innovative mechanism allows the wearer to control the watch’s functions by pushing a sapphire crystal. In order to start or stop the watch, the crystal must be pressed on its edge at the 12 o’clock position. To reset the watch counters to 0, the crystal must be pressed on its edge at the 6 o’clock position. The sapphire crystal is secured by a lock function that eliminates the risk of any accidental activation of the vertical trigger system.
