একদিন সংখ্যা ৯; সংখ্যা ৮- কে জোরে এক থাপ্পড় মারলো।
তখন কাঁদতে কাঁদতে ৮ জিজ্ঞাসা করলো, আমাকে মারলে কেন ?
৯ বলল, আমি বড় তাই আমার অধিকার আছে মারার।
এ কথা শুনে ৮, সংখ্যা ৭- কে জোরে এক থাপ্পড় বসিয়ে দিল।
৭ যখন ওকে মারার কারণ জানতে চাইলে ৮ ও বলল, আমি বড় তাই মেরেছি!
একই অজুহাত দেখিয়ে, এরপর ৭ মারলো, ৬-কে;
৬, ৫-কে;
৫, ৪-কে;
৪, ৩-কে;
৩, ২-কে; আর ২, ১-কে মারল!
হিসাব মত ১-এর শূন্য(০)কে মারা উচিত...
কিন্তু "১" মারা তো দূরের কথা,শূন্যকে কাছে নিয়ে বললো, তুই আমার ছোটভাই সবসময়ে আমার পিছে থাকবি, কারণ তোকে যেন কেহই আঘাত করতে না পারে। তখন থেকে ১ আর শূণ্য(০) মিলে ১০(দশ) হয়ে
গেলো। সব সংখ্যাই সন্মান করা শুরু করলো।
লক্ষনীয়:
ছোট ছোট কারনে, নিজেদের মধ্যে ঝগড়া, লড়াই না করে, ব্যক্তিগত অহঙ্কার দূরে সরিয়ে, আমরা যদি একে অন্যের হাতটা ধরতে পারি, আমাদের শক্তি বহু গুণ বেড়ে যায়।
