In principle, one cannot but agree that the certification of scientific personnel should be improved; at the same time, it must be admitted that the discussion on this topic in its current form causes considerable harm to the development of science, and in the first place it harms the preparation and education of the scientific succession. Namely: behind the lengthy and effective, but most often fruitless conversations about the need to cancel dissertations, the most important thing is lost - the scientific work itself.
