In NBA 2K22, it is possible to predict the rating of every Warriors player

The latest installment of the “NBA 2K” franchise is scheduled to release on September 10, and Warriors fans can look forward to playing with a team that looks strikingly similar to the team from the Golden State Warriors' heyday.

We already know that Stephen Curry, who recently finished in the top three of the MVP voting, has the highest player rating in the game, with a score of 96. Draymond Green is still on the Warriors' roster, Klay Thompson will return to action soon after a two-year absence due to injury, and Andre Iguodala is once again a member of the team.

However, the all-important player ratings for NBA 2K22 MT will almost certainly change. What will they think of Thompson now that he has been away for two years? What method do they use to determine the worth of a player like Green? What is the position of younger Dubs such as James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody, and Jordan Poole in the organization? To get you ready for the season, here are some rating predictions for every player on the roster (aside from Curry).

Nemanja Bjelica is a Slovenian actress and singer.
74 is the predicted rating.
Bjelica had seen his rating steadily rise throughout his career, reaching a career high of 78 at the start of 2K21, before a nightmare 2020-21 season knocked him down three points to a career low of 75. Bjelica appeared in only 37 games, averaging 6.5 points per game while playing 16.1 minutes per game on average. Following a disappointing season, it's possible that he'll be dropped even further for the start of 2K22. Players like Aron Baynes and Mo Wagner have revealed ratings of 74, which seems to indicate that Bjelica will be positioned in the 74th spot.

Chris Chiozza has shown flashes of being a competent point guard during his NBA career with the Brooklyn Nets, but he has yet to establish himself as a consistent performer. Despite averaging three assists per game and shooting 35% from the field in 20-21, Chiozza finished the season with a 72 overall rating. He will have an opportunity to improve his rating by logging minutes as a backup guard, but with players like the Dallas Mavericks' Josh Green and the Houston Rockets' Dante Exum entering the league at 71, this rating appears to be appropriate.

Draymond Green is a professional basketball player.
Predicted Overall Score: 82
Draymond Green finished 2K21 with an overall rating of 80. Joe Ingles received an overall rating of 80 in 2K22, and rookie Cade Cunningham received the same rating. There's little chance Green will be rated the same as a first-year player when the season begins next year. While he continued to struggle offensively, averaging the fewest points per game he had since his sophomore season, Green recorded the most assists per game of his career, earning him a spot on the All-Defensive First Team. He's also fresh off an Olympic gold medal and a solid amount of minutes on that team, so perhaps that will encourage 2K to give him a little extra support. Green has been consistently underrated in the ratings for years, and it is unlikely that he will rise any higher than a rating in the low-80s.

Andre Iguodala is a professional basketball player.
74 is the predicted rating.
Unfortunately, this version of Andre Iguodala is a step down from the versions we've seen on previous 2K Warriors rosters. Coming off a season in which he averaged only 4.4 points per game on 38% shooting, he finished the previous season with a 2K rating of 73 points per game. He is unlikely to start the season below players such as Baynes and Wagner, but the Philadelphia 76ers' defensive ace Matisse Thybulle is rated a 75, making it reasonable to assign Iguodala a lower ranking than the still-defensively adept Thybulle.

This one is fairly straightforward; we already know that Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Josh Giddey, who was selected with the sixth overall pick in the draft, is rated a 75. Kuminga was selected in a lower position and, at the age of 18, is significantly inexperienced, so a lower threshold to begin the year makes sense. It's possible that Kuminga will be promoted as a result of his 17.3-point-per-game performance during Summer League. As a rookie, he has a ridiculously wide range of outcomes; there is a chance he averages two points per game, which would be an improvement over his 40% field goal percentage in that game.74 seems like a reasonable starting point.
