Path of Exile can now make more efficient use of the system's video memory

The recent Path of Exile patch added a Clear Cache button. The developer Grinding Gear Games explained to the community what it does and why they originally added it.  Patch 3.14.1d states that the Path of Exile client can now make more efficient use of the system's video memory, which means that assets will remain loaded for longer. For systems with sufficient video memory, this will result in a significant reduction in assets that are obviously loaded during the game. A Clear Cache button has been added to the options. Although we will periodically clear Path of Exile’s cache, you can use this button as needed to try to solve problems that may be caused by invalid files or excessive cache growth.
