AOL Mail Deactivation:

As the terms and conditions of AOL Mail state that “if a user doesn’t log into their account for 90 days (i.e., if an account is unused or dormant for 90 days), it is deactivated.”

An AOL account may be deactivated it it is inactive for about 90 days. To keep your AOL Mail aolmail.com Account active, user must make sure to sing into his/her account at least once every 90 days.

When a mailbox is kept unused for more than 90 days, without a login, new email address may not be delivered to your previous email address, the emails sent to your AOL Mail will be sent back to the senders. AOL Easy Transfer offers you the best and easy way to switch to your new AOL account. You have the option to request that AOL Easy Transfer copy your personal data (e.g., your address book and stored emails) from your old account to your new AOL account. You have the option to request that AOL Easy Transfer notify contacts in your address book about the change in email address. Enter your old email address and password, and your e-mails and contacts will transfer into your new AOL account within 24 hours. It can also alert your contacts about your address change and forward emails to your AOL account for 30 days.

  2. Click the “Sign In” link next to the search box.
  3. Click the button that says, “Get a Free AOL Screen Name Now.” This will bring you to the registration page.
