The Fiat 500C and Fiat 500X Dolcevita Edition arrived

FIAT brings the nonchalance and relaxed attitude of the Italian lifestyle to the streets.

The Fiat 500C Dolcevita Edition and the Fiat 500X Dolcevita Edition, two new limited-edition models, epitomize the ideal of the Italian "dolce vita" way of life. These limited edition models take the best parts of a hybrid car and the classic style of a Fiat 500 cabriolet and combine them to make a car that will be remembered for a long time.

With these new limited edition models, FIAT remains committed to its annual tradition of unveiling a unique take on the Fiat 500. The brand has revolutionized the city car market with this groundbreaking idea. The limited editions have traditionally paid homage to other industries, such as the fashion industry, the world of luxury, the field of technology, or classic Fiat 500 models. One of the keys to the series' commercial success is its unique models. The Fiat 500 family accurately represents the Italian "dolce vita" because it has grown up with the times without changing its core personality.

Electric motors are available on the new limited edition models. They both feature cutting-edge hybrid technology that saves money and reduces pollution thanks to their low maintenance needs and blows away users with their intuitive interface. A 48-volt electric motor with a 15-kilowatt output is combined with a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine (96 kW/130 hp) in the Fiat 500X Dolcevita Edition Hybrid (equivalent to 20 hp). A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is used to transmit power (DCT). The Fiat 500C 1.0 Hybrid has a three-cylinder petrol engine producing 51 kW (70 hp), which is supported by a 12-volt belt starter generator for times like when starting the vehicle electrically.

The exterior of the Fiat 500X Dolcevita Edition is painted in Gelato White, and the soft top is upholstered in ivory-colored fabric. The soft top can be opened in just a few seconds with the push of a button, and even when it's down, the trunk isn't in the way. Full LED headlights, 18-inch gray alloy wheels, fine satin chrome details on the radiator grille, and the surrounds of the LED fog lights, exterior mirror caps, and door and tailgate handles complete the luxurious look. Lettering on the front fender is another distinctive feature of the limited edition model.

In the new Fiat 500X Dolcevita Edition cabin, you'll find ivory soft-touch seats with contrasting piping and dark embossed "500" logos. A white dashboard inlay and a satin gear knob make a perfect pair. The seatback of the driver's seat can be adjusted electrically to provide lumbar support. The unique model comes standard with a rain and light sensor, a rearview camera, and a UconnectTM infotainment system with built-in satellite navigation. The system can be operated by way of a touchscreen with a screen diagonal of up to 7.0 inches (17.8 centimeters), and it supports smartphone connectivity through Apple CarPlayTM and Android AutoTM. DAB+ can be received by radio.

The new Fiat 500X Dolcevita Edition is equipped with hybrid technology that combines a turbo gasoline engine from the FireFly series with a 48-volt electric motor. In addition to its maximum torque of 240 Newton meters, the combustion engine's maximum output of 96 kW (130 hp) from its four cylinders and 1.5 liters of displacement is impressive. The 15 kW electric motor is quite powerful (equivalent to 20 hp). A seven-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission transfers power to the front wheels (DCT). That setup not only boosts efficiency and dynamics, but it also looks fantastic. The Fiat 500X Hybrid can switch to an all-electric drive in the low-speed range, such as during takeoff, maneuvering, and stop-and-go traffic, depending on the power demand and the battery's charge level.

Only the body style with an electrically operated soft top is offered for the new Fiat 500C Dolcevita Edition. Chrome highlights on the grille and door mirror caps complement the Gelato White paint job and Ivory soft top. The front wings feature elegant Dolcevita badges written in italics.

The interior is equally opulent, thanks to details such as the actual wood dashboard trim, leather gear knob, and tailored floor mats with white piping that complement the ivory leather inserts on the seats and the white "500" logos embossed into them. The 50:50 split second-row seats and the UconnectTM infotainment system with a 7.0-inch (17.8 cm) TFT display are both standard features.

The hybrid drive of the Fiat 500C Dolcevita Edition combines a belt alternator starter with a three-cylinder FireFly-family naturally aspirated gasoline engine that produces 51 kW (70 hp) from one liter of displacement (BSG). This component, which is belt-connected to the crankshaft, can act as a generator or a support mechanism for the internal combustion engine. Recuperative braking powers the RSG when in motion, which charges the regular 12-volt battery and a second lithium-ion battery (12 volts, 11 Ah).

The Fiat 500C Dolcevita Edition is a fun car to drive because of its comfortable cabin and low fuel consumption and emissions. The hybrid system is highly effective, small, and light in terms of propulsion.

Fiat is an acronym for "Future of Urban and Sustainable Transportation." The company's products are affordable and have Italian style, brilliant interior ideas, and cutting-edge technology.
