The new Skoda KODIAQ with 245 hp makes its world debut

Inside and out, Skoda's largest SUV has been overhauled with a sharper style, special features, and the current generation of EVO engines.

.

The most powerful variant, the Skoda KODIAQ RS, now comes with a 245-horsepower TSI petrol engine. Some SUVs are simply larger and more spacious than others, and the KODIAQ, like the Kodiak bear after which Skoda's largest SUV is named, is at the top of the food chain - on European roads. Three rows of seats are possible, as well as up to 835 litres of luggage and 2,500 kg on the towbar. In other words, it's the ideal family vehicle for active leisure activities, such as parent-driving football games, hauling mountain bikes, and pulling a boat trailer.

The new Skoda KODIAQ has a more robust appearance as well as improved aerodynamics.

The facelifted new Skoda KODIAQ has now been unveiled to the international press. The new KODIAQ has a new appearance and interior design, as well as exceptional equipment and the latest EVO engines.

The most noticeable change is the new front, which gives KODIAQ a more distinct and rough appearance. It has a new radiator cap, a more upright radiator grille, a new front bumper and front spoiler, a revised fog lamp location, and smaller LED headlights that are now available with full LED and matrix technology.

A glossy black rear spoiler with integrated brake light, a visually narrow back window, a new rear bumper, and new taillights with full LED as the standard option of dynamic turn signals have also been added to the rear end. Overall, the revised features in the back parts give KODIAQ a more lively appearance, while the aerodynamics have been improved.

Inside the 2021 Skoda KODIAQ, new amenities include a two-way steering wheel with heat and Hands-on Detect. The latter monitors if the driver is interacting with the steering wheel or has lost control of the car.

Contrasting stitching has been added to the instrument panel and side doors, and ambient lighting provides a variety of effects.

The new Skoda KODIAQ now boasts the latest generation of infotainment systems, which are always online and available with Skoda's digital assistant 'Laura,' who understands and speaks your language. The touch screen can be up to 9.2-inches. However, the Skoda KODIAQ currently comes with a virtual cockpit with a 10.25-inch screen. It comes as standard with the top-of-the-line KODIAQ RS, which features its unique RS layout. The Canton sound system features a total of 10 speakers that deliver a total of 575 watts if you wish to create your own concert hall. The KODIAQ RS comes with a large sound system as standard.

A new grille with vertical slats completed in a gloss black hue, reworked headlamps, split LED tail lights, black ORVMs, and new alloy wheels are among the exterior features of the 2021 Skoda Kodiaq facelift. A huge touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, front seats with ventilation and massage functions, and a fully digital instrument dashboard are anticipated to be included on the inside.

You must sit comfortably while driving and listening. The seats in the new Skoda KODIAQ are already big and well-shaped. KODIAQ can, however, be equipped with an ergonomic driver's seat with multiple adjustment options, a massaging function, and cool air as a novelty.

The Skoda KODIAQ's safety assistance technologies also include a first in the form of Crew Protect Assist, which prepares the KODIAQ for a collision in a fraction of a second and maximizes passenger protection - even in rear-end accidents.

Skoda KODIAQ: 0-100 km / h. in just 6.3 seconds.

The new Skoda KODIAQ has a new generation of EVO engines under the hood, all of which meet Euronorm 6d, both TSI petrol engines and TDI diesel engines. There are two TSI engines: a 1.5 TSI with 150 hp and 250 Nm and a 2.0 TSI with 190 hp and 320 Nm. The Skoda KODIAQ RS, which originally had a TDI engine and now has a TSI engine with 245 hp and 370 Nm, is the most notable modification. These forces allow the KODIAQ SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 232 km/h.

Except for the 1.5 TSI 150 hp, which comes with a 6-speed manual transmission, all engines come standard with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. Furthermore, all engine types with 190 horsepower or more come with four-wheel drive. In late 2021, the new Skoda KODIAQ will be available throughout Europe.

Spaciousness, value for money, and a dynamic design inspired by Czech glass art are all part of SKODA's DNA. The cost of owning and driving a SKODA is minimal, and it is one of the car brands with the highest residual value.
