Why does your smartphone do exactly what you want it to do? What do a physics laboratory assistant, traffic engineer or technical product designer do? What are the smallest particles in the universe? Schoolchildren will get to know answers to this as well as suitable courses and apprenticeships at the virtual Girls' Day 2021 on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Schoolchildren of all types of schools from the fifth grade can learn more about the fields of work and tasks in the STEM subjects at KIT in numerous lectures and workshops.
